This soft pastel painting was created as a custom commission for a client in Nunavut who longed for the gentle charm of an English garden with lush greenery, blooming florals, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that invites you to pause and breathe.

I worked closely with them to capture that feeling of stillness and timeless beauty. The final piece features winding garden paths, soft lavender hues, and delicate light filtering through the leaves—like a memory you can step into.

It was carefully packaged and a long journey shipment with love from Southern Ontario to the Canadian North, where it now brings a little spring warmth year-round.
